Lets try and relearn to play while still having fun, regardless of change.

No offense, but it's because of people like you that changes like this actually go live. You are blurring the feedback on these absolute bs changes with completely unfounded optimism. This is not a constructive thread at all, because it has no substance. All you're doing is poking disappointed players with a stick. If you think things will be alright, didn't you play the game during the last year? It is everything but alright, and it is getting worse patch by patch. ZOS needs to wake the f up.Everyone is in quite a bit of distress and it’s totally justifiable, but things will work themselves out. I still have hopes moving forward.
There is a very weird tribalism around classes in ESO. Would love to see it go away, but it's not easy to do sadly.
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...
CLASS WARS
With the extinction of Sorcerers, the neglected Dragonknights have decided to choose sides. They now work as mercenaries for either the Templars or the Wardens. Meanwhile, Nightblades are stalking the shadows, waiting for their chance to strike...
I knew it. It’s Dragonknights who are fanning the flames of dissent.

Honestly I'm just dismissing the people reveling in other players being upset. Those are not players that make good company. I just pretend they don't exist. Life is happier that way.
but it's interesting to see how these changes are showing who the true toxic players in the community are. So I guess that's an upside.

Yeah its tough to see folks that have main'd MagSorc's for years that now "might" have to turn away from what they mostly know. I mainly play DK's but I also love my Sorc too. I take no satisfaction in seeing a class (and a very popular one too) broke in half.
I instantly applied my melancholy personality on mine after the PTS notes broke .
The bile I’ve seen spewed over sorcs in the last couple of days borders on the pathological. I wonder if people who hate a class because of a perceived notion of overperformance, also realize that they can too play that class. That doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be class diversity--in an ideal setting classes would be balanced, bringing something unique to a group with their playstyle, without deviating significantly from other classes regarding strength or utility. It means rather that people should think less in terms of ‘my class’ and ‘your class’ and more in terms of ‘our game’s classes’. And again, the problem seems to spring mostly from the PvP side; there’s not so much resentment in PvE between classes, even in cases where said resentment might even be a little warranted, like non-DK tanks, non-templar healers, etc., yet in those case people bring constructive arguments in about how a certain class spec can be on par with the more popular choices for a given role, like a templar tank or a DK healer, in PvP however, it’s more like ‘dancing on your graves’. Schadenfreude much?
