Absorb Magic Counterplay

Didn't see anything about this skill being changed, and maybe I missed it, but is this skill seriously going to be left alone in the state that it is?

It lasts 30 sec, is the size of a % of your HP, absorbs nearly ALL elemental and magic damage in the game (even an ultimate like soul assault), and it heals you every time a magic attack hits you. It's what currently makes up a large portion of those unkillable tanks survivability. Now, here's the thing. ZOS wants to add resists and let shields be crit, which will make this skill even harder to deal with and remove! How will someone counter this skill as a magic user? There is no counterplay now and if the changes to shields go to live, then you can consider this skill to be the most overpowered in the game.

Now, tell me if I missed where they changed or nerfed this skill. I didn't see it. And if its not nerfed, every mag build should QUIT pvp.

    If it's one cast per projectile, how is that an issue? It's not as if this skill is some godly merging of flappy wings and damage shields for magic attacks. It's literally one projectile.

    I've never seen -anybody- complain about absorb magic before.

    There won't be any mag classes left anyway so it won't matter
    Unless you are willing to be a mindless sycophant and/or coddle others due to their insecurities prepare to be harrased by the Orwellian enforcers on these forums. You should also try to refrain from using any words more complex than those used by a small child due to the fact that said enforcers have made it clear that their vocabulary pool is aenemic.

    Well it only absorbs one projectile so I dont think it'll be as cancer as you seem to think.

    It's patched on live...I previously did that 2-3 weeks ago with combat physician. Good that its patched lol...but someone with PTS make sure its not possible to do this again since it may have been an "accidental fix"...
