(PC) Addons, buffs and blacklists?

....they all have timer features. That's great - right?

But how do you set yours up? In Bandits and Srendarr you can 'blacklist' certain buffs so that their timers don't show.

To complicate things further, they also say that you can add short, medium, long and passive buffs - but what exactly is a medium buff? What constitutes a long buff, how short/long does a buff have to be to be considered short/medium/long? is there an official timescale that defines when a buff becomes medium etc?

what buffs MUST be displayed and which do you think you should 'blacklist'?

I use srendarr in combination with LUI.
I have my gear procs and toggled buffs on my left side of the screen above my stat bars. My ground effects and debuffs on enemy I use right side of screen, above enemy health bar.

run action duration reminder, add any important procs that arent directly shown by action duration reminder to a whitelist i.e. major vitality, major protection (resto ult major prot lasts 5 seconds longer than the healing), set procs, and whatever else u feel like u need to see. its important to keep in mind if you put too much junk on there then you wont be able to notice the actual stuff you need to see as easily, so try to whitelist as few things as possible.

Thanks! Yeah, I need to look into how to set up Srendarr properly - setting up gear procs notifications would be super-useful!
