I have an Argonian NB I want to convert to a utility / healer type for Cyro group runs. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am completely new to healing. Tried it over the weekend with Transmute / Shacklebreaker / Troll King on a Light Impen build. Healed off resto with utility and some DD on destro. Had a blast but clearly not optimal on skills, rotations, etc.
Thanks for any advice.

Don't really have anything else to help out with other than what you've seen in my NB Healer thread already. Best of luck to you!
Maybe you could share some video of your gameplay?

LOL too early for that...just running around spamming. I'll check out your thread tho. Thanks.
I have played my argonian NB healer a lot in pvp. Mostly in battlegrounds or resource tower fights. There is many styles you can adopt, and the one I like to play falls in the tank/healer category. You will be focussed on mitigating damage, while dishing out heals and using utility and buffs for group support. You won't be doing any damage though, in stead increasing the damage of your group.
The sets I usually use (5H2L) are 5 pariah, 5 SPC, 2 Bogdan. Pariah has insane synergy with vampire undeath passive at low health and will make you very hard to burst. SPC uptime is very good on this build, because you will use a lot of hots. Monster set is flex, depending on situation. I like Bogdan for BG's and small areas. There it basically procs on CD with this build. It's not that good on mobile fights though.
Bloodspawn also works. Sometimes I switch out SPC for Tava's Favor and pair it with Bloodspawn for very good ult uptime if that is what is needed. Troll king is not an option if you are a vampire, but it's not really needed because 90% of stambois use TK these days. Thurvokun is also a good option, and you can drop shades for combat prayer to increase group dmg even more.
SnB bar:
- Degeneration
- Siphoning strikes / Deep thoughts
- Fear (either morph works)
- Dark cloak (only use this when you have at least 27k health)
- Dark shades for AoE minor maim / Mirage when using Tava's.
- Ult: Soul siphon
Resto bar:
- Healthy offering for burst heal
- Rapid regen (gives more raw healing and higher SPC and Bogdan uptime than mutagen)
- Healing ward (use this + dark cloak when low)
- Orbs (amazing support and procs SPC and Bogdan like nothing else)
- Refreshing Path (multipurpose skill: healing, shadow passives, mobility, pulling nb's out of cloak)
- Ult: Bolstering darkness for when you expect to take high damage over prolonged period of time.
I never tried chokethorn tbh. Doesn't look so good to me. But bogdan can almost proc on cooldown in full on fights, because it can proc from every single healing tick you do, also on yourself. Uptime is very high.brandonv516 wrote: »I have played my argonian NB healer a lot in pvp. Mostly in battlegrounds or resource tower fights. Good points made above.
Never considered Bogdan. What's the uptime on it like? Is it similar to Chokethorn?
