    PvP or PvE? Tank, DPS, or healer? Competitive or casual?

    Stamina or Magicka based. Orc would be a good (if not optimal) race for Tank or Stam DPS. Woodelf would be OK for a bow/bow stamina build, not great for general stam DPS, tanking, or anything Magicka.

    Currently, the Warden is a jack of all trades class - very strong in stamina DPS ins PVP, not so much in PVE. Decent healing, if a lot more difficult to heal well than a Templar. Magicka DPS on Wardens is marginal at best.

    From your questions I'm guessing your a newish player - Warden might not be the best class to learn the ropes on...

    Roll a stamden, magdens are about to be poo poo with the great shield nerf of 2018 approaching.
    Unless you are willing to be a mindless sycophant and/or coddle others due to their insecurities prepare to be harrased by the Orwellian enforcers on these forums. You should also try to refrain from using any words more complex than those used by a small child due to the fact that said enforcers have made it clear that their vocabulary pool is aenemic.

    I like my Wood Elf Warden with Bone Pirate and Seventh Legion for PvP. Fury is also good. I usually run Troll King for the Monster set.

    Main thing is to set up a burst combo with Shalks and another skill(s). Shalks + Dawnbreaker + Reverse Slice is always fun.

    If pvp, use orc.

    Stamden is top class in pvp currently and for some weird reason zos decided to buff their p2w class...

    They gave it a lot more sustain and dmg...

    But yeah for stamden pvp.

    7th/ bone pirate/ bloodspawn.

    I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

    RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...
