Has anyone got a descent mag warden pvp build? I love the class but seem a bit weak im in spinners shacklebreaker and kena monster set lol

Spinners shackle with 1 domihaus, 1 max magicka is decent. Gotta keep the heals up on them.

Magden, its sort of a cross between a Stamden and one of those npc mages in over world that just spam light attack while screaming... they could have given Magden specifically a stun (rip Deep Fissure) and made the winters embrace tree a second mag damage tree like all other classes have (or at least have mag damage morphs), but no... the ice element and thus the winters embrace tree is for tanking alone because... reasons... and Magden wasn’t allowed to have its stun in fissure anymore because... other reasons

Sometimes I wake up and want a medium rare sirloin steak.....then I go get one only because it's cheap and it fills the hunger. I have bought some silver ware before because they were really really cheap. But don't expect to burst me down with ur stamden. Or your magden. They are pretty though.

I will just copy paste my post from an other thread

For pvp: slimecraw, necropotence, burning spell weave.
Triune jewelry, 2x magical harm and 1x reduce spell cost enchant
Prismatic on the helmet, chest and legs.

Front bar: inner light, force pulse, flame clench, fissure, shimmering shield and northern frost.

2nd bar: elusive mist, enchanted growth, pollen, blue Betty, ice fortress and healing thicket

Gear 5/1/1
Infused flame staff
Shield and sword on back

It offers a lot of burst, but not so much sustained damage.

Rotation is simple: Fissure, LA, Clench, LA, Force pulse
An unaware target is usually dead by then, if not, repeat


In no CP you have (as dunmer and all buffed up):
Health: 21.500
Magicka: 37.700
Stam: 12.000
Spell damage: 3030
Effective spell damage (according to Eso uesp) : 6919

Tried out Magicka Warden again this weekend and got something I like put together for BGs:

The sets are:

5 Lich
5 Necro
1 Domihaus
1 Chokethorn
1 Asylum Lightning Staff (non-perfected)

Clearly a lot of room for improvement. Few notes:

-Undaunted not maxed
-Weapon not gold
-Considering going two piece monster set
-Vampire could be better or worse - you can see the DK already brings the pain

For BG, run a frost build xD wont spoil more than that, just if you build it right you will have one of the strongest BG setup in the game Try too figure it out ^_^

I run a Frost build on my Magicka Templar already. Works really well!

Wall of Elements and Frost Reach with Charged Ice Staff (bonus points for using vMA staff) means almost full uptime on immobilization. Warden gets more out of this because of the skill line of course. No secret!

Please keep the ideas coming, im starting to play all classes on a regular basis in PVP to test them and understand them better

But I just cant decide what to keep my mag warden
Im no fan of necropotence though

I was just saying spinners as sort of a generally good set that will oftentimes boost the damage on most builds

If you want to be really daring you can pair spinner and necro. You'd have a huge magika pool at that point

Keep it simple

5 shackle on body, 2x pirate skeleton or bloodspawn, 3x necro jewel, 1 necro powered resto back 1 necro electric destro front bar nirn.
Witchmother brew, mag mundus.

Easy works like a charm.
