What keeps you from the IC/Sewers?

As the title says, what keeps you from going into the Imperial City or the Sewers when there isn't an event going on? Not counting the two dungeons. This goes for ALL players.

Flags and losing telvar. If people want to pvp its not that big of a deal.

I guess the rewards, Unless your a NB there is no point in going there solo, none of the gear I really care about, well maybe SB and IP but not enough to use it outside on IC and only time I'd use SB is on one Sorc that spams shields so 20k odd Tel Var for 1 guy, not worth it

And once you get the Skin/Pet and beat Molag there is no other reason to come back into the sewers and I got the 3 polymorphs from opening the 1000 ( iirc ) random gear bags so I dont need the 250k

Loading screens. Mostly. It's just too much of hassle to go there.

For all the trouble of going there and farming tel var, there’s not much to be done with it. The storage is alright, but most often I just dump it on alchemy satchels or hakeijo on the off chance I can put up with the monotony for that long.

Edit: also, it’s just so damn empty all the time. It’s boring

not my real choice...I just like the way this selection sounds...

for a long time I didn't really enjoy the gloomy dark and confined environment...

I'm starting to learn to enjoy it more now...except for when I accidentally run in to one of those banner bosses and aggro them...

those freaking things will track you from your base all the way to the center...they just don't quit...

I choose the "I don't have a higher end PvP player, so haven't explored that part of the game yet!" option.
It's on my to do list someday, but with CP-0, it isn't on my short list of things to accomplish.

Improve it and Ill go there more. Was a mistake opening campaigns for it this year as players just picked safe campaigns and farmed in zergs avoiding what makes IC great. The conflict, fight for control of the ability to farm telvar.

I just feel like the drops there are crap. And people usually travel in zergs when it comes to stealing.

It's fine during the event though.

2: none of the telvar sets are used for anything really?

Am I missing something? Maybe just farm a polymorph if u want it badly enough?

Too much other stuff to do, which interests me more. I'm not opposed to going to Cyrodiil or the Imperial City but I don't enjoy it as much as the PvE areas so generally if I have to choose between the two I'm going to pick PvE.

There are people who live there, who have gear and builds just for ganking, and I don't need to be their victim.

The two biggest reasons are that it's a bit of a pain to get to, and when do get there, it is usually dead or dominated by a single faction. The other problem is that apart from Haikejo and Alchemy mats (and a few skins/pets that most vets already have), there isnt a lot of incentive. XP doesnt matter, and AP is pretty minimal when the zone is empty.

Making it a separate instance would solve the first two problems most likely. 1-2 CP and 1 non-CP instance is all you would likely need.

As for buffing the rewards, well sky is really the limit on this one. I like the idea of expanding the loot to include other valuable crafting mats.

The PVP. Everything else is cool. We need a PVE zone that is full of bosses. Craglorn has been empty for years, give us a new group oriented zone.

I (now) have the skin. I've got the scamp. I've got the polymorphs. I got all of the (purchasable) storage boxes within 30 minutes of that patch going live. About the only thing I can do in the sewers is work on boss slayer achievements and collecting Skyshards.

Why would I go down there?

actually: use blade of woe when possible, kill mobs quickly, stay in stealth,...or, you can just group up, and, when the tide of a fight starts to turn - run and hide

I don't like having to go through a Cyrodiil campaign to get there. If I could queue in directly, I would probably go there more often. Since I have to go through my alliance gate, I end up taking resources and trying to help take/defend keeps. I've made it to the districts twice now. Usually by the time I get around to it, I'm done with playing for the night.

I've done plenty of PvP in the past, and successfully, but I no longer have the slightest interest in it.

Locking PvE content behind PvP in IC (and, for access purposes, Cyrodiil) was a massive mistake on ZOS's part, and I've no doubt that they know that, and that this is why they have since acknowledged that PvP and PvE should be kept separate.
