More non combat pets?

The Mudhoppers in Summerset easily became one of my favorite creatures in Tamriel from the moment I laid eyes upon them, second in my heart only to Guar.

There are countless zone critters already in-game that would make great noncombat pets.

Farm animals like sheep, rams, and cows. (A bull would be best suited as a new mount... perfect for my orc!)
Grazers like deer, stag, elk, antelope, springbok. (These would really bring some of the houses with large outdoors areas to life!)
The various birds seen in the different zones. Ravens would certainly be the biggest hit, but there are already owls, falcons, seagulls, and many more throughout the game.
Small critters like squirrels, rabbits, snakes (normal wingless ones), and even that awesome Mud Hopper shown above.
Horkers! I want a big ol' fat horker flopping around after me so very badly

Edit: I'm well aware that there are already Elk mounts, but this topic is about noncombat pets. Plus the wild zone elk are much smaller than the Elk Mounts, so Elk Pets should be an equivalent smaller size. Like the difference between Horse Mounts and Pony Pets.

I'd love a pet crow or raven. I've been doing the Evermore storyline recently and it's reminded me that we already have a model in the game with animations. A talking one would be a bonus (as long as it's not spying on me) but I'd settle for a regular one.

I once saw a suggestion of someone saying they’d love an enchanted floating book as a non-combat pet. I would definitely second this. I would also love the option of including sounds and interactions with the pets. Some of their idle animations are so adorable but I’d love to actually immerse myself with my companion

I was pondering something along these lines as well. Maybe Uncle Sheo could step in and create a few different animated object pets for us!

Geez, now I'm picturing Uncle Sheo's Crates as a new crown crate set. Complete with animated chairs and soul shriven men/mer as your galloping mounts and an assortment of demented pets like animated books and swords and, of course, plenty of scamps and cheese.
