Poison StamDK viable für no-cp?

Hey all,

thinking of converting my good old BS/7thLegion/Shackle heavy armor stam-dk in something different. Unfortunately I have no first Hand experiences with a MA Poison build on a stamd dk . is it viable for no-cp (primarily BGs) PvP?

My thoughts: 5pc Morag Tong (Jewelry/Weapons), Bloodspawn (Maybe Selene/Veli/Mephala?). What to pair this Setup with? Dont have much time to farm due to RL-Issues, so farming vet Dungeons or Trials is unfortunately not possible. This leads me to the following Options to complement 5pc Morag Tong:

5pc Werewolf Hide OR 5pc Shackle (would you recommend medium shackle?) OR 5 pc Viper (not that good anymore, right?) OR good old Hundings OR eternal hunt

Any Input from experienced Poison Players?

I spent some time testing one but I don't consider myself "experienced" at all

    I also created this discussion

My advice is don't do it, not worth it.

BUT if you still want to try something like that, viper + TK + morag tong was giving me the best results on BGs before I decided to ditch medium armor.

Viper, hundings on stam dk. Lots of crit, lots of dots, insane heals. Decent. I feel like no cp is all about burst though which is why stam dk has a tough time finding an identity in no cp.

Tavas, bloodspawn, agility and master axes (dual wield and 2h).

If you dont have master weapons use balorgs, tavas and werewolf hide

    Ty all for the comments.

as suggested. Put on Selene for more burst and double poisons. What can I say? Damage was nasty, Targets were dropping really fast. On the other hand I felt quite squishy (no surprise, given that I am used to BS/Shackle/7th Legion HA SnB).

Will propably give it a few more rounds, the build didnt feel bad. Atm I'm relying heavily on Rally to stay alive, Vigor alone was not enough. And had a problem with mag Sustain: Since I'm missing Shackle I simply couldnt Sustain Volatile/Igneous and FoO as i relied on chains to gap close. Will try out Silverleash at the Weekend.

So right now the set up is:

Selene/Viper/Hundings, 5M/1H/1L, 2Hand/Dual wield. All stam glyphs, dual poisons, Dubious Camoran Drink.

If you have any tipps/recommendations pls let me know what you think.

Run troll king and the new artaeum food recipe. Should give you the additional heals you need

assasins guile with the double poison/heal instead of viper. When the poison procs you get a vigor strength heal.

I’d suggest running fortified brass in medium if you feel like you are taking too much damage. It has the survivability of heavy armor while retaining medium armor passives. Great option for BGs.

Here is my 7 medium build using the set.

Speed potions is a good alternative to running a gap closer while in medium armor. You can even add one swift trait, this will help reduce stamina/magicka cost of using pull skills.

Last recommendation is to drop flames and slot evil hunter. You won’t get as much burst but it will boost your weapon damage slightly, help with nightblades, and won’t drain your mag pool.
