One thing I’ve noticed since Jewelry Crafting was released is that when I deconstructed a Intricate piece of jewelry the inspiration bar didn’t seem to move that much more of a bump than normal white level pieces. So I thought I would do some testing. The numbers are start inspiration - end inspiration after deconstructing.
These were done at level 28 JC:
Platinum CP160 Necklace (Normal) 11292 - 21736 for 10,444 inspiration
Platinum CP160 Necklace (Intricate) 21736 - 34465 for 12,729 inspiration
Platinum CP160 Necklace (Ornate) 34465 - 44909 for 10,444 inspiration
These were done at level 29 JC:
Platinum CP160 Ring (Normal) 1365 - 11799 for 10434 inspiration
Platinum CP160 Ring (Intricate) 11799 - 25048 for 13249 Inspiration
Platinum CP160 Ring (Ornate) 25048 - 35492 for 10444 inspiration
The inspiration gained between the normal and ornate were about the same, which is what I expected. However, from what I understand, Intricate is suppose to boost the inspiration gained by 300%. So for the necklace above, 300% x 10,444 should equal 31,332 inspiration, not the 12729 that is given. Or am I misunderstanding how this is suppose to work?
Another thing I noticed is that deconstucting Pewter jewelry gives almost no inspiration whatsoever. I mean, it’s really pathetic, only giving about 180 inspiration for normal pieces, and 722 inspiration for intricate. For the crafter I was using for testing this, he was at level 15 and needed 32600 inspiration to go to level 16. That’s a lot of rings to deconstruct, especially for new players.
