Everyone is going to hate me for this...

Everyone is going to hate me for this... but I have an idea. And when you have an idea, sometimes you just gotta say it. Even if it's an awful, terrible idea that pushes the limits of acceptable human ethics, you still gotta let it out. The world will be a worse place, but I'll personally enjoy the mild relief of not having to keep my mouth shut. So... worth it.

Radiant Apex Rewards. Those are the super rare, nearly unattainable Crown Crate drops that almost nobody ever gets.
Daedric/Aedric Artifacts. Those are unique items in the lore with unique visual appearances, like Dawnbreaker, Wabbajack, Spellbreaker, etc.

Since artifacts are supposed to be unique items in the lore, and Radiant Apex Rewards are the rarest type of cosmetic item in the game, it's a perfect fit. The Outfit system now has the capability to accommodate Outfit styles for Undaunted and "Signature" Battlegrounds styles. This functionality could be extended to Outfit styles for the Deadric/Aedric artifacts.

Make Daedric/Aedric artifact Outfit style models available as Radiant Apex Rewards!

Projected outcome: Lots of people will buy a few extra crates. The whales will go absolutely nuts. ZOS will make money.

Also, HMU if the marketing team is hiring. I really feel like I could bring something special to the team. I'm full of borderline unethical ideas that could turn a huge profit.

    Is this marketing 101?

If these things are cosmetic only then sure. Why not.

If they have any effect in combat at all, then this is perhaps the worst idea in the history of ideas.

Great idea. I expect Zos can use that to help drive sales. It’s fine since it’s just visual appearance.

Nice intro. I'm sure that's how most people feel before they hit the post button. Made me chuckle.

There is nothing wrong with sharing your ideas. No matter how terrible or how prone the locals are to pointing out its flaws.

If the idea is awful, better keep your mouth shut. There are already too many wrong ideas making the world a worse place. Once, someone had an idea to put the number 666 (devil's symbol) in the player's name. Now there are so many players around copying this wrong example and everywhere I see it in the game. I'm a catholic and don't like to see such symbols, simply because it feels wrong and leads me to ignore all such players. So no, when you feel your idea is wrong, better shut the mouth up, since you cannot predict all results of bad idea.

Btw. I got a single Apex Guar mount from free crown crate along with the animated sweetroll worth 400 gems, so they are not so rare as they look like. I know it because my luck is as bad as my rl salary ;).

Whilst marketing is probably drooling, I hope the development side still retains enough control to stop terrible things like this ever happening.

I have a better idea - let's do away with crates altogether. Direct purchase stuff please.

Just because you could post a terrible idea, doesn't mean you should!

Maybe start selling body parts in the crown store.
If you want to use a 2Hander, buy a 2nd arm first or if you want to use a shiny mount, buy a buttock to sit on it

I got a radiant apex mount and a regular apex mount in the 4 crate login reward crate, back to back. I have to admit that there is something cool about having something not a lot of other players have, be it a reward from a crate or something you worked your rear end off for like a skin from an achievement. Making everything easier to get or purchasable is kinda like participation trophies, putting them up for sale on the crown store just shows who has more disposable income. I say, let folks have their special items and be patient, cause you may get one along the way as well.

There's already lore preventing access to certain Daedric items.
(Such as the book in the current Molag Bal furnishing bundle)

Every asset in the game has to be approved as conforming with the Elder Scrolls IP and not infringing on or creating derivative works of any other IP. So they definitely wouldn't hire anyone who is "unethical" as that would create a liability on several fronts.

I know it's a borderline troll post. But that settles the two ideas that might be evaluated somewhat seriously.
