Wisdom of Vanus is available in every weapon type even though half of the 5 piece bonus is wasted but Marksman's Crest weapons apart from Bow were removed from the game because of the 5 piece bonus was wasted, any plans to return Marksman's Crest weapons or remove all but Wisdom of Vanus Restoration staves from the game?

I'm talking about the Essence Drain part of the 5 piece bonus which is wasted without a resto staff

Wisdom of Vanus is still useful on an destruction staff as you can use class skills or swap to restoration staff.
Still you would not get the duration buff so you can just as well use another destro staff.

Marksman's Crest is a bit stupid since you loose out an 5% cost reduction on the melee bar

It seems you don't understand that set completly.

Base resto staff:
3s of major mending after heavy attack(from passive)

Resto + vanus:
6s of major mending after heavy attack(from boosted passive). Not 9.

Base other weapon:
0s of major mending after heavy attack.

Other weapon + vanus:
3s of major mending after heavy attack(From set)

Conclusion:
Vanus set is giving 3s major mending to all weapons. Resto staff isn't favored.

nope not misunderstanding at all, 5 piece bonus has 2 part, major mending and essence drain, only major mending works without resto staff equipped

nope not misunderstanding at all, 5 piece bonus has 2 part, major mending and essence drain, only major mending works without resto staff equipped

Of course!

But its how I wrote. Becouse with resto staff you get 3s from vanus set and 6s from boosted passive. But major mending doesn't stacks! So its just 6s = 3 more than without that set

Anyway you always get 3s. No matter what type of weapon
