Xbox One ESO Plus Options

Will Xbox ever get options for ESO Plus like PS4? I want to sub again as I recently started playing again but I hate subbing every month. I would love to buy 6 months of ESO Plus and just resub twice a year. Thanks for any info.

Not sure what you mean, i turned it on a d its just rolling each month. But i can cancel / restart when i want.

XB only offers a monthly sub, which renews every month and yes, you pay every month. It's been this way since the beginning. It was also this way on PS4 for a while, but they now offer a 6-month sub which doesn't auto renew. So, you buy a 6-month sub, then when it runs out, you buy another one. I'm guessing that they also get the same discounted price as PC players do, though I'm not sure about that.

So, XB players pay more than PC players (and presumably PS4 players that buy the 6-month option). It's $15/month on XB, every month - no discounted price.

ETA: I think what he means is that he'd like to have a 6-month sub option, so it renews twice a year, rather than paying monthly and having it auto renew every month. The advantage of this is getting a discounted price on the monthly fee and getting all your crowns at once. And, your credit card only gets charged twice a year, though you'd have to be able to afford the upfront price.

The option would be nice. Sadly, I don't see it happening any time soon

I play on XB1 and don't have to renew every month...it does it automatically until I cancel.

@Beardimus No I have always just set it to auto renew I would just like a longer option with the discounted price rather than another monthly payment. @Jayne_Doe pretty much nailed what I was trying to say. I would rather pay a higher upfront cost that over time is a better value and I dont have to worry about a payment every month. I dont get paid on the same days every month because of bi weekly pay so it can be a hassle sometimes delaying the payment or making sure I set aside the money for it. To me it would just be much easier like with my Xbox Live membership to get longer sub length. Its not a deal breaker for me I just wish we had more options than monthly.

@SanguineMyBrother it would be nice and Ive been waiting for it since it was announced for PS4 but like you I dont see it happening. Ive been away from the game for about 6 months and was just wondering if there were plans or if it would be likely in the future. Longshot I know but like you I think it would be a nice option to have.

@Ecileh71 When I had ESO+ I always had it set to auto renew but like I said above it can become a hassle sometimes and if I had the Option I would much rather pay for a longer sub vs paying monthly. More of a convenience thing.

Ah I get you so rather than £8.99 each month, a prepayment of say 6 months at £7.99 per month instead etc.

@beardimus exactly. Id rather pay more upfront for a better extended price. It would just be nice to have more options than we currently do.
