Invisible/misplaced Weapons

Ever since I started my new toon, her 2-hander is usually not rendering properly. In addition, she literally drops her bow on the ground to swap to the 2H. When she runs while on the 2H bar, she drags the bow along the ground. That is no way to treat a weapon! I've been grouped with other people reporting invisible weapons as well.

What happens when you swap the 2H for the Bow? Is the 2H weapon then dragged along the ground while the character uses the Bow?

Whether it matters, insofar as this appears to be a "cosmetic error" that doesn't affect using either weapon or the abilities on the corresponding bar. ZOS doesn't care if something makes them look bad. Not as long as players continue to buy their bugware. ....

Gets same thing as well going from bow to dual wield. Bow on ground, no weapons in hand. Bow reappears when swapping back. First time you do it in game after logging on it's ok, then the bug kicks in. Only been in-game a week and this is really annoying.

Playing warten tank and every few hours my shield and/or weapon becomes invisible. I'm almost at CP160 and and was planing to get me a quarterly subscription - but now after realizing this is going on FOR MONTHS [without acknowledgement] I guess Zenimax Online [Studios] doesn't has it's Act together and I'll wait and see! 🤷

I had this the other night playing a Wood Elf but it was a little different. My entire character was invisible. I thought it was just the weapons that were invisible when the bug occurred (I play in 1st person camera) but going to inventory or riding a horse showed me it was my whole model. Relogging fixed it though.

Edit: side note because it may be related. I have NPC's go invisible too or under the world. Relogging does not fix the issue though, unfortunatly, and I have to start the entire quest over after an baboon.

Yup, I've seen this one as well. Standing on your bow/staff etc. like a surfboard is funny, but not ideal for immersion. I've only ever fixed it by changing zones or relogging.

Yeah I see this plenty too. Only on my stam char, never seen it with staves. Doesn't seem to affect skills or anything but I haven't done a dummy parse with the bug to actually check.

Been getting this a lot ever since they added the monster style items, I noticed my shield was appearing underground, only reason I knew it was there were the flames between my feet (Ilambris set)

I agree, got the same problem every game session...since 3-4 months.

Unequipping and reequipping one of the "invisible" weapons always "fixes" it for me... until it happens again. It seems the best way to avoid it completely is to switch to the affected weapon before transitioning zones - which I'm prone to f[o]rget when I'm in groups and time might be of essence...

ZMO fix this nonsense already! Seriously! SAD! Believe me!

yeah my 1h and shield disappeared. My 2h sword shows fine but 1h and shield are invisible but I can still fight with them

I can live with this bug but the one where everyone's health bar gets screwed up is HEALER HELL!!!!!!......
