And I agree with the article, Skyrim changed the target audience a lot, lots more players and lots who ask for Skyrim II.I found a really good old article about the ESO's development. I want to share it with the community.

If you had seen the game in Alpha or early closed beta and then skipped to today, you would think it was an entirely different game. Because it is a different game. And its better for it.
Just wish they had baked in the character progression better. The idea that players would not rush to end game was not reality. The initial goal was just too low (L50) and the Vet Ranks did us no favors.

And I would happily trade CP for a simple level 50 cap, with no CP or VR attached

they need to fix their broken AA system before they do anything else . one of the worst systems for a AAA release to date
Downside if you have multiple characters, obviously vet cap and gear cap would continue to increase.xenowarrior92eb17_ESO wrote: »3 years ago I said I hate vranks...today id happily trade my CP for the old vet ranks...

What does AA mean in this context?
AA in ESO to me means Aetherian Archive, since ESO doesn't have auto attacks and I'm not an alcoholic

AA means AvA or Alliance vs Alliance

Really? Why not just say AvA? It's an extra letter that makes everything so much clearer

It's AvA. It's referred to in-game as AvA. Alliance vs Alliance.
It's a term that is closely related to Realm vs Realm (RvR), which is from Dark Age of Camelot. Several DAoC devs then worked on ESO and implemented a similar form of PvP which they called AvA.

I'm aware of that. I was asking why not just call it what everyone else calls it, which is indeed AvA.
AA means completely different things to most people

Nice article, though I believe I've read it before.
However, I'm somewhat sad that the article's opening image depicts only nine of the ten playable races. There's no Imperial included there.
