Crown item gifting is bugged on PS4

I cant be gifted the imperial collectors bundle by friends it says that i already own the dlc, I only own imperial dlc not the collectors bundle . I need the collectors bundle for the mind shriven skin and horse. but it gives this error when friends try to gift it to me,
"This player already owns this collectible"
support wasn't helpful and told me maybe it will be fixed next patch, next patch ? I need the skin now since its on sale not next year

It's not just PS4. You can only receive a bundle as a gift when you don't own any piece of it. This is primarily to avoid duplicate gifting as gifts cannot be reabsorbed into the original sender's account or redeemed back to crowns, only gifted to yet another player.

If you need the horse and skin, use crowns on your account. The sale price on the bundle is competitive even if you already own IC, and the DLC bundles are probably going to be the only exception to things open to being gifted.
