The idea of "Making the material of mass-produced item (potion) rare" is stupid enough, and from those rare clam nods you don't even make it 100% drop *** or powdered?
You can't expect ppl to make potions using materials that worth 4k a piece. First it's not THAT good (and in fact, if it's win-ensuringly good, then it's almost p2w), second it's not like there is a tournament that for you to use your rarest potions to get some rewards. So, knock it off
I really don't see the reason behind such rariety. It's not benefiting crown store, it's not benefiting vet players or those who own summerset, and it's not benefiting new players, and most of all, it's not contributing much to gameplay (since the ingredients are rare, not many would use them).
