Have any of you read them? Are they good?

Since I have played this stuff since launch I'd like to really read about all the lore and stuff. I'm thinking about making it something i ask for for xmas.

Do you mean the in-game books? Or the books like Elder Scrolls Online: Tales of Tamriel - The Land, and The Lore?

Well, I suppose it's the same either way. They have basically all of the in-game books in them as a physical copy, and yes, I do quite enjoy a lot of the lorebooks in the game, they're often quite interesting to read, both for the storytelling and the lore that it expands upon. :)

Do you mean the stuff from pre orders and things? Like the Naryu/Raz journals? Because I'm pretty sure those are more informational type books, its kind of like asking if the dictionary is a good book (well obviously they aren't actually that dry, but you get the point). If you are talking about The Infernal City and Lord of Souls (the only Elder Scrolls Novels), those have nothing to do with ESO, but I would highly recommend them.

Like the novel with the infernal city.

Seems kinda cool. I bet there are neat references and stuff.

I don’t think the Elder Scrolls has novels like Warhammer does. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Unless you mean in game books?

Edit: I just clicked on that massive link up there. One book? That’s it?

There are a couple of novels set in the time period of ESO. I - hmmm.... how to say this....

In the past, I've bought novels related to games I was playing. I've found for the most part that while the premises might be good, the authors themselves were abysmal.

I quit buying books related to games I played many years ago.

Naryu's journal is pretty cool. Raz's however is pretty bland. Its got bits and pieces of his journal in it, with splatterings of pieces from ingame books.

I didnt think the ES books were too bad. They struck a cord with me because my ESO main is a crafter and started life out as a chef. The books were funny about the staff in the different kitchens in the flying city were in constant life or death warfare with each other to produce the best meals for the rulers.

    Ok. To clarify...
Greg Keys wrote 2 TES related novels.. "The Infernal City" & "Lord of Souls".
If you enjoy Elder Scrolls as much as I do, then they are actually really good books.

Titan Press has a collection series:
The Skyrim Library - Volumes I, II & III
The Elder Scrolls Online - Volumes I & II: The Land & The Lore

Also, all the Collector Editions of ESO, Morrowind & Summerset included really nice books. You can find copies on eBay.

Outside of Primas "Game Guides", these are all the available TES books available that I know of.
    Huzzah and Happy Reading!!

Edit Note: Now if you LOVE reading "In-Game" books and really love the lore THAT much, go to:
    https://www.imperial-library.info/

They have EVERY book from all 10 games. From Arena to Skyrim to ESO. (fyi... that's like 5-10k books!!)

Agreed, these are pretty good books. Very imaginative, well-written, and lore friendly, IMHO.
