Had a strange bug happen today. DC had just retaken Aleswell from AD, and I was repairing walls when I noticed an AD treb on top of the inner wall above a postern, sieging the outer wall. I ran inside and saw an AD player go dark next to the treb, so I ran over and started firing Bombard to try to reveal and lock him down, but he vanished (I'm assuming invis pot). After burning his treb, I kept trying to use Bombard around the area where I knew he was stealthed, but the skill just wouldn't fire. I tried for at least a full minute or two, and my toon would pull back the bow string like he was going to fire, but nothing would happen. I tried jumping and firing, and my toon would kind of "stutter" and almost fire off the skill, but not quite. I decided instead to throw caltrops on the area, and that's when the AD was revealed to be crouched on that ledge that runs partway around the back side of the inner keep from the top of the wall above each inner postern. Once revealed, he gap-closed up to me on the wall and we fought it out, and all my skills worked fine. Has anyone else had this happen, where a non-targeted cone AoE wouldn't fire towards a player? I'm curious if it was a bug because he wasn't on the same elevation as me, or something else. I doubt it was due to him being stealthed, because I use Bombard to reveal hidden players all the time with no issues.
