Morkuldin appears to be failing to function.

Noticed today when dueling - I was consistently getting incredibly long period of 4-5 minutes of combat without a Morkuldin proc, followed by instant procs and procs off cooldown for 45 seconds to a minute.

Hit a friend for 3 minutes straight with light attacks without a single Morkuldin proc. Did it again and once again, not a single Morkuldin proc.

I was running morkulin pre-wolfhunter patch. It never did proc very often to begin with, definately less often then veli (which shares the 10% chance BUT procs from all sources of damage). However, constant fights over MINUTES without a proc (and regular weaving in of LAs (HAs) ) does sound a bit too little.

I'll put it on to try on a dummy again.

edit: I can confirm a slightly reduced proc rate - by number. But in my test (only morkulin set active, 3m dummy, only light attacking with bow (no monster or buff)) the proc was active < 90% of the time (sword was visible).

In sum I would conclude that drop rate is fine (assuming 7,1% proc rate to be rather on the lower end) and ability functioning as intended.

Pardon my interruption, but please tell us which software or add-on you are running which displays the output in the above image! The output of the ones that I've examined is, essentially, useless without memorizing some special iconology to decipher it. (I play TESO on PC NA.)

I'm afraid that's not exactly how you read that chart.

The 7.1% just means that the skill did 7.1% of your total DPS and not the proc rate. To get the proc rate you would have to sum the amount of light attacks and times it proc'ed and then you can calculate your proc rate.

But seeing how the Morkuldin weapon attacks more than once each times it appears, you would have to see how many times it attacks per Proc, then calculate the amount of times it procced using the value of your second "Light attack" on that list (I think that is the sword auto attacking).

The sword attacks once every 2 sec (give or take), that'd be about 7 attacks per Proc, seeing it attacked 215 times, that'd be 30 Procs, from a total of 927 bow light attacks. Hard to get a proc rate like that, since the set doesn't proc while the sword is up (who knows how many light attacks went between procs).

To get a more accurate proc rate, light attack a dummy, and don't light attack when the set procs.

(As far as I know, Befouled Weapon is the damaged caused by your weapon glyph proc and not Morkuldin)

PS: the AddOn is called Combat Metrics

Edit: fixed math, sorry I suck at it :D

Without performing a truly systematic test on Morkuldin, I have made some observations while experimenting with the set. For me, Morkuldin will proc as expected for a while, but after what seems to be a random amount of time it will just stop procing. It may be coincidence, but it does not seem to proc again until I either swap bars or un-equip/re-equip the set, then it will pretty reliably start procing normally again.

Hi all! I know this discussion is older now. But I had the same problem since two days and posted it in the german forum. For me the Morkuldin Set stopped working after a while, but only if I had it equipped on my weapons.

With only one set weapon everything works fine.
Seems like the game doesn't like to swap from the one Morkuldin weapon to another Morkuldin weapon.

I hope my english isn't too horrible.

Have a nice day my fellow heroes!
