High ping due to problematic server in IP route

Had major lag issues recently so I did a traceroute and found the problem:
ae120.access-a.sech-sjc.netarch.akamai.com [209.200.184.197]
I'm playing from SEA and this server which I think is ZOS's DDoS protection is causing me to have consistent 500ms+ ping over the usual smooth 250-300 ping. I did a searchup on this server and apparently other ESO players are having issues with this server too.
Anyone here with the same problem? Any way that I can fix it? Since the server is for DDoS protection I'm assuming the only way it can be fixed is if ZOS looks into it.

    I have heard the high ping comes from their anti-cheat measures. I hope someone with more insight can provide more info.
