Skill levels not displaying on weapon bar

So, I try to max out all my skills, whether I use them or not, so that one day, when they might be useful, I will be ready to go. I do this a lot on alt characters by slotting them on a weapon bar then equipping that weapon when I turn in high-xp quests, crafting writs, etc. rather than gimp myself by wasting a slot for a useful skill.

At some point in the last week or so, when I went to check the status of the skills on my bar to see if I could swap them out for new ones, I noticed that the level (I, II, III, IV) was not displayed at all. I searched the forums and saw multiple threads discussing that the skill progress bar has not been advancing, even though the skill actually is, but no mention of my particular bug.

I would assume they are connected somehow, but the skill level shows just fine when you go into each individual skill line and highlight the skill, but when you toggle across the slotted skill in the weapon bar while in the skill menu, it only shows the skill name, and no mention of the level at all.

Anyone else having this problem?

You're talking about the tooltips when you hover on the slotted skills, right? I haven't seen the absence of the Level numbers themselves on the hotbar, such as I, II, III, IV, but the progress bars are completely missing though, for me. And the reload temporarily fixes the sync issue between the trees and the hotbar slots, but it doesn't fix their missing progress bars. BTW, I'm on NA/PC.

yup ive seen this today. xbox EU.

its when you are in the main menu then go "up" to your skill bar, they are not there.
when you go into the skill itself, it appears

yup ive seen this today. xbox EU.

Yeah. Main menu —> Skills —> very top where it shows slotted skills = skill levels not showing

Also Xbox NA and this has been bugging me. Thought it was just affecting an alt I made but noticed it's on all chars all the time now. Seems ZoS did some UI update but failed to mention it or we just glossed over it in the patch notes. Either way it's a bit of an annoyance when one simply wants a quick check. Nobody's got time to press extra buttons. All silliness aside I find this very annoying.
