Been playing Mag Sorc since launch, tired of constant nerfs. Is Stam Sorc any better?

On paper it looks like they're better

    Well, I love my stam sorcs. I love the combo of crit surge and Hurricane for self healing plus AOEs for chewing up mobs.

    The only catch is that you are reliant on weapon skills, as are most stam classes. Stam sorcs have neither the best PVE DPS nor the best PVP utility if that's important to you.

    I quite enjoy running my stam sorcs (I have several) and prefer them to my magsorc, but that may be practice and personal preference.

    At the moment, yes. Though the next patchnotes are not even 2 weeks away and we shall see what they bring.
    I would wait until then before you put in any effort.

    Everything gets nerfed at times.
    Everything gets buffed at times.
    This is what it's like playing a class based system in any mmo.
    If "constant nerfs" got you thinking about ditching your class, you're gonna be just as disappointed when your new class gets hit with the nerf bat too.
    It's inevitable.
    Do what you want, but just understand, the nerfs come for all.
    Ok...maybe not nightblade. Play that.

    stam sorcs are a blast if you can find a playstyle and build that compliments their strengths...

    I am saying that :)

    I enjoyed Sorc at launch, and I had for a long time after that. After that it was mostly just hope. A lot of my hope is gone now though.

    Switched to Stam Sorc a month before Wolf Hunter, and I haven't looked back since. I'm having a blast playing in PvP again.

    BUT, playing stam is very different from playing Mag sorc. It'll take a while for you to adjust to not having shields, but you'll become a better player for it since you'll be looking for spots to break Line-Of-Sight more often to keep you alive and in the fight. It'll boost your environmental awareness and your ability to 1vX if you have too. At least that's been my overall experience.
