What is the In-Game Costume with the Best Design According to You and Why?

There are tons of costumes in the game but many of them are pretty pretty bland and similar to each other. There are quite a few well designed ones though.



IMO, the Emperor's Regalia is probably the best costume in the game. It has a very unique design on it and details pop out rather well. Dyes work great on it. It clearly had a great deal of work done for it, probably the most done for a single costume. The sad thing is that it is locked behind an achievement which a significantly minute part of the player-base will manage to get their hands on. The Nord Hero Costume and the Elven Hero Costume is a close second IMO.

Lion Guard Elite and the other Breton heavy at more, if you are looking for a solid, no nonsense, heavy armored look.

The Imperial Officers pack is also quite good.

Of the earned costumes, the Regalia of the Scarlet Judge is a great costume earned through a nice quest. My favorite appearance item is the laurel leaf crown you get from Star-Made Knight.

I like the pirate costumes which show off your tattoos and skins really well dyes good too except belt which has annoying stripe lol
I agree above really like the laurel leaf crown .

ditto on the Scarlett Judge costume. I ran that for the longest time on my first character when I started the game. Every now and I again I see the exact same colors I used as well and it takes me back.

Otherwise, I don't know of one that I genuinely like

Without a doubt, the Cyrod Gentry’s Town Gown. It is one of the few costumes that shows true color, you can dye all the details, and both genders can wear it.

yeah, it's a little sketchy looking to actually do some fighting in - but, man does it look comfortable...

I feel like either autocorrect or predictive typing may have messed up your thread title. In the body of your post you're clearly talking about what costume has the best design but the thread title is about what costume has the best decision, which obviously makes no sense (while the post itself makes perfect sense, and is well articulated).

I totally agree. it dyes so well. it's perfectly simple but beautiful (corny I know)

I feel like they are all garbage now, compared to the outfit system(good job/outfit system rocks). It would be nice if they just intergeated them into that or allowed you to hide all pieces not just the helmet to be used in conjunction. Not high up on my list of cares but, as far as this topic goes. All in all, things could always be better.

Yes, but you need the rootbrim hat and Dwemer sunnies to make the perfect fishing outfit.
Chub Loon pet for extra pizazz (<< is that even still a word?).

The Wayrest Ensemble is my fave; matched with the Bosmer hat with the two vertical leg bones. Sep Adder pet

Well, gosh, some of those are really cool.... but where do you get them? I'm not seeing any of them in the Crown Store.... (Sucks to be new, but hey, if you don't ask....)

Costumes are (for the most part) available for a limited time in the crown store.

Occasionally, older items are available again ... either as a past season crown crate or straight-up in the crown store.

This is the one time where I will actually recommend paying attention to the crown store log-in advertisement.

I got emperor ages ago. Returned back after 2 years and was wondering where to drop my stored off crowns.
