People still get 1-shot in Battlegrounds due to glitch. Why hasn't this been looked at yet?

Getting one shot with 20k environmental damage - from falling on plain floor ground onto plain ground floor, due to Volcanic Rune. This has been reported several times and a long time ago. Why hasn't this been fixed?

Considering that no one even uses Volcanic Rune at all, it's not far fetched to think that people are deliberately exploiting this glitch to oneshot people as well ...

It may not be deliberate exploiting in all honesty. I have been known to use volcanic rune or the other morph from time to time. The knock up effect is one of the only ones available to a magsorc other than destructive reach/clench.

Did not know it cause this though, I haven't personally used it in probably 6-7 months.

It's near the green spawnzone, but it's down on the bottom floor on the ground, whereas the spawn point is far up on the wall. Even if volcanic rune makes you bounce, it doesn't make you bounce through the stone to the spawn point that's far above on the wall.

Though I assume that could be what glitched the insta-death, if ZOS made the "zone" around the spawn point too wide, in which case they should fix it so it doesn't one shot people who get CC'ed (volcanic rune, maybe even wrecking or destro reach too) way down on the ground floor.

In any case, the insta-death from environmental damage through volcanic rune was reported way back, and I assumed it had been looked into, though it's plain to see that it hasn't.

He's not in spawn zone, just outside of it once you drop down.

The Quarry has the relic spawn right underneathe the base. Players can drop the rune for defense and not realize that it is going to send you to instant death.

This was not a relic match. It was a deathball match, and the green team deliberately took the ball there and turtled up with runes and mines.

Anyway, whether it was a deliberate exploit or just an unfortunate glitch isn't the question, and it's just guessing game anyway. The fact that the glitch is still there despite being reported back when, is the issue. Would be nice to be able to play BG matches without dying to absurd glitches like 20k fall damage when there was no fall involved.

They would rather pay someone to make re-coloured mounts to put on limited time sale for the whales to lap up than fix the game, multiple game breaking and content ruining bugs present for weeks, the LFG tool is STILL *** broken, HDR is gone on consoles, Infinite loading screens, broken quests and achievements.
