Stuttering since Summerset.. any fix yet?

I've just came back to the game to see if the stuttering i experienced at the launch of Summerset is still here and it is.

Intel Core i7-8700K
gtx 1080
SSD
32gb ram

Tried so many fixes I've read online and nothing works.. i go from 110ish down to 50fps for 1 - 2 seconds, Doesn't matter where i am or what I'm doing.

If anyone has got any tips to fix this would be great to hear.

    If you are experiencing stuttering since Summerset, you may need to disable add-ons which could be affecting performance.
    1. Go to the "Elder Scrolls Online" folder in My Documents.
    2. Open the "live" folder (NA megaserver) or "liveeu" (EU megaserver).
    3. Remove all files from the "AddOns" folder.
    4. Remove all files from the "SavedVariables" folder.
    5. Remove AddOnSettings.txt from the "live" folder.

    You can find some additional troubleshooting suggestion in this thread.

    I have done this and its still the same.. also reinstalled and changed the setting files as to other posts on here but still the same.

    Oh well, sure there are many different solutions... to many different problems, that in effect all show as stutters ingame.

    Yet, my fortune-tellers crystall broke and my read-your-mind skills have never been above average to begin with. So without information about your hardware, how you treat your systems updates and all the things you tried already, its really a challenge to give advice. ;)

    Hardware as opening post and i update things when they need updating (don't need a crystal ball or to read minds for that).

    With and without addons, lowest settings, re-install, changing SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads & SET RequestedNumJobThreads .

    This is a funny response @ZOS_BillE , what causes the issue on PS4 then, because it still happens on that platform aswell.

    ok, I did the above and I still get crappy FPS. As low as 13 fps in some areas. This is just since summerset. I was getting 45 to 55 fps before. I play on the NA server on high settings, except I have turned shadows to low to see if that would help. This is my gaming rig specs AMD 1950X Threadripper, EVGA GTX 1060 6gb SSC, 16 gb DDR4 3000, ASRock Fatal1ty X399. I use Charter 100mb internet. I am in Eastern Washington state. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

    Try this. Go into documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live and move your UserSettings.txt file to the desktop. Next run the launcher and start up the game. At this point the game will automatically recreate the UserSettings file from scratch. Sometimes this file just gets corrupted, and when it does, can cause some major problems. It might not work, but it’s something else to try :) If it doesn’t work, just move the file on your desktop back to it’s original location.
