Set Question

I am sure this has been asked before, but, I don't quite know how to word my question, so I am having a hard time finding an answer.

Lets hypothetically say I ran a quest line at level 10, and the set pieces that were dropping were for the Wyrds Tree Blessing.

Lets also hypothetically say, I really liked this set and wanted to use it after leveling up.

How does one go back and obtain a set befitting a 160 character? One that would be leveled instead of the 10-12 or maybe even 15 it would have been when it first dropped.

I assume there is a way to do this but don't know how. It would really stink if the one tamriel update prevents you from getting something that might be good for end game, because you ran the content at level 30.

Not necessarily saying Wyrds Tree Blessing is any good at end game, just using it as an example.

Thanks for the help.

Gear will always drop at your level, so in your example when you hit 160 just go back to where the set dropped and farm it. If I remember correctly for overland gear jewelry drops from dolmens, small pieces like waist and feet drop from delve bosses and big pieces and weapons drop from world bosses.

What if the gear was part of a quest reward? How would you farm that?

@terasque the only way to do that would be to have another character that hasn't done the particular quest for the item youre looking for.

That's what I thought. Thanks for verifying.

Quest reward sets is sets who also drop in zone.
Note that you can also buy and sell all overland sets.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

The set pieces that drop from quests are just named pieces of that set. So like someone said before if you get a set piece in glenumbra that you like then when you get to 160 go back to glenumbra and farm that set. Chests can contain any piece also.

Yep. Five of my nine girls have done at least the first part of the quest line.... harvesting portals is just another thing I do while out overland, along with all the mats.
