What's the armor trait for PvP Stamblades these days?

mhc9840

back in the old days it was Impen all the way, but now I'm hearing about 7 Divine w Warrior Mundus.
What's the 'meta' for armor traits on PvP Stamblades these days?

Right now I'm mixing 2 Impen 2 Well-fitted 2 Divine 1 Infused(chest), and I want to hear out before I farm more set pieces.

i dont understand this 7 divines. it boosts the mundus 52,5 percent.

warrior mundus 238 base+52,5 percent makes it around 360. impen and wellfit seems better.

7 divines is for ganking or mega glasscannon stamblades.

Impen and well fitted are more for the brawler stamblades.

    Impenetrable & Well-fitted seems good.
I also mix it with Infused on "big pats" (head, chest, legs & shield if you use one in your build).
Infused with Glyph of Prismatic Defence for extra health & magicka ;)

I go 4 impen and 3 well fitted.

Even if I was setup to gank, I'd probably still go impen. That extra bit of damage (like 130 weapon damage or something) isn't worth the extra chance of surviving and escaping.

I will not be using divines in PvP, specially if you are using only 2 of them. It's mainly used in PvE because it is the only offensive trait aside from infused, but the profits are residual. Using 2 divines with warrior mundus will increase your weapon damage something like 40, meanwhile 2 impen will give you 500 critical resistance and well-fitted 10% dodge-roll cost reduction.

Defensive traits are much more worthy IMO.

I'm using 5 Impen 2 well-fitted on my stamblade (playing mostly non CP).

7 Divines = 125 weapon damage (not even worth a normal weapon damage set bonus)

7 Impen = 1806 Crit Resistance (27% less dmg from crits) - worth almost 50% more than Transmutation 5p bonus (1304 Crit Resistance) - less than Impregnable tho, but that set is bonkers op.

7 Well-Fitted = 35% less sprint/dodge roll cost (although bundled up with medium armor passive & Tumbling CP) - cuts dodge roll cost by 1414 stamina.

I know which trait I wouldn't use, not unless using Twice-Born Star (for some reason).

yeah this sums it up. i dont think 125 wd is noticable. most skills have 1.01 ish coefficient with wep damage which translates to 125-150 damage. and to think gankblade one-two shots, well fitted much more better( if you fail you can run longer :) )

Full divines is for gankers. Specifically bow gankers.

The idea is to not get hit, and kill them fast enough to not get hit

If you plan on getting hit you should use 7 Impen
Valrien Dravic -- Level 50 Dunmeri Sorcerer (EP)
Garahel Dravic -- Level 50 Bosmeri Nightblade (EP)
Tamriel Unlimited was a mistake. One Tamriel was a bigger mistake

Even on a "bow ganker" you're gonna want well-fitted... otherwise you will get hit. 125 weapon damage isn't a good trade for that extra dodge roll/sprint sustain you could have with Well-Fitted and there are scenarios where you need to sprint/dodge away from people (i.e. failed gank, someone uses gap closer or streak, someone sneaks up on you etc etc)

The only exception would be a build that uses TBS, which can get decent value from Divines.

Impen hands down. You're gonna die anyways, but without it, you're gonna die a lot more.
