I saw on a post discussing WW parses that someone stated that base light attack speed is roughly 1.67 light attacks per second, meaning that light attacks have a 0.6 second cooldown before they can be repeated. So does the Blood Moon set reduce the cooldown by 50%, meaning it allows for a light attack every 0.3 seconds, or does the increased attack speed refer to your light attacks per second increasing that rate by around 0.83 LA/sec, making it 2.5 light attacks per second, giving light attacks a 0.4 second cooldown during the proc?
Basically are you able to spam light attacks during the Blood Moon proc at a rate of 12 every 5 seconds (with a .4 cooldown and a 2.5 LA/sec cooldown) or 16 every 5 seconds (.3 second cooldown and a 3.3 LA/sec attack speed); or am I totally misunderstanding this facet of gameplay, and the actual mechanic is something entirely different? I realize that in most circumstances the actual number achievable in the 5 second window will likely be less due to human error/timing/lag.
Also, am I right in assuming that major/minor expedition, swift jewelry, the windrunning champion point passive, and the steed mundus do not similarly impact light attack speeds and just impact character movement?
I think the set bonus is a bit awkwardly worded since the proc is ultimately reducing light attack duration/cooldown, an otherwise hard-capped limit in the game, yet it's stated as an increase to attack speed.
