Sorc Pet keeps disappearing after patch

Prior to this patch, I would have to summon my pet maybe one time per day, if that. I downloaded the new patch last night, and I had to summon my pet about 20 times through just wondering the world and a dungeon for a couple hours. The only dungeon my pet ever died at (prior to WB patch) was on White Gold Tower at the last boss when it'd run into the lightning explosion and I didn't have Hardened Ward up. Just running through Deshaan my pet would disappear. It died at a Dark Anchor. Died almost a dozen times in a single dungeon (Ruins of Mazatan - spelling) where it'd never had died before.

I read the patch notes, and the only thing mentioned about pets was that they had major expedition applied to them now to keep up. It seems something else has changed with them, as I can't even keep my pet active longer than 10 minutes now.

I would suggest a little more detail on when things are happening. It should be easy to get the detail on when the pet is disappearing.

I'll add: XBOX 1 N/A server. And it's hard to say specifically what was killing it/causing it to disappear. I've never had to worry about my pet not being active, but I would find myself looking at my bars and seeing the thing not being active...over and over.

I know specifically, running through areas of Deshaan to the north/northeast of Mournhold, I'd get kicked off my horse and my pet would de-summon. This happened a few times while trying to harvest nodes. As far as in Ruins of Mazatan dungeon, this was the most frustrating. I literally had to re-summon the thing a dozen times in a normal dungeon. I keep up hardened ward quite often in my rotation with pugs, and the pet NEVER died in any dungeon besides WGT prior to this patch.

I'll do some more testing tonight when I get home from work, but I'm more curious to see if anyone (specifically on XBOX 1 NA) is having the same issues, or if this is just a sign I need to move on from pets for good as something has happened to them.
