Where is the Nord "Hero"

I know the breton died and the high elf was in the trailer for summerset so she still lives but where is the nord? Last we saw him he was face to face with molag bal in one of the trailers did he survive? Or is he in a limbo of not confirmed dead but also not alive?

From the look of the sky after he awakens after the fight with bal, it looks like sovngarde (least skyrim’s edition of sovngarde sky matches pretty closely).

However due to the fact he was fighting Molag Bal, I suspect he’s in cold harbour...
