When i get lucky i MAY have the chance to join a veteran dungeon. Most of the time I get kicked. Last game i even got kicked at the endboss, i didn't even die once the entire dungeon. and our tank was a guy with a bow, what the hell do they even expect... but yeah his CP was higher than mine... so he must be better... -Sarcasm. ok I may only have 15-16k hp , but i got a 10K shield to make up for it >.>

Sorry the answer seems like a DB answer, but maybe join a guild and run with only them for a bit till you are better geared.

You're right it sucks when this happens, and I personally never kick people unless they que wrong role, are away, or are just that bad, but it does happen.

What is a noob, in this specific case?

If you get kicked on a regular base for being below CP160, that would not exactly be a surprise.

There are a number of people out there that will kick you because of your CP and there's not much anyone can do about it.

There are plenty of nice people out there as well, so don't give up and take the opportunity to ask about joining guilds when you do run into them. The most enjoyable way to play this game might be to make some friends, in or out of a guild, and hook up with them to do content.

If you can make just one friend and group with them to use dungeon finder, you can never be kicked.

The only thing you can do really is get more CP get better gear and hang out with better ppl.

    With that said...

There should be separate ques for vet players and low cp players also there should be a minimum DPS check.

    Uhm, wrong.

If you are in a group of farmers, they will not like you. If you get a good drop you can right throw it away. The chance to trade drops with a noob does basically not exist. Well, they could trade you gear for future use, but your drops are worthless.

Honestly, I've never seen this. I've played since launch on PS4 NA, and almost always in PUG. Only time people have had a vote initiated is:

    1. They weren't good
    2. They were annoying
    3. If group finder bugged and they couldn't get there quickly enough

Theres no reason for you to bedoing vet thats why. Youre only 150. Youre just going to slow down your team. If you were 160 im sure people wouldnt mind carrying you. Only because vet dungeons is where you go to farm your purple gears and they drop at 160.

You’ve said a few times that you don’t die. You do realise that’s not the main reason you are in the group?

Your there to kill things, if your not at all efficient st that, that’s what they kick you for.

Are you using AOE on packs of mobs? Are mobs taking a while to die? Do you run TO the tank if you get mobs in you? There is far more to being a dps than staying alive.

There are some vet dungeons that if you don’t have enough dps will be a nightmare. So the dungeons this happens in in also important.

The good news is you visited the forums. Here you can find out how to improve in all aspects.

    How to gear
What food to use, yes you need it.
What skills to use and in what order
Special mechanics of the fights in dungeons
How to track your damage, to see how well you actually do your role.

What class, gear and skills are you using? Which dungeon was it?

Not dieing is the least important measure of being a dps. Better to die once or twice during a run but actually do serious damage.

I'm on PS4 na and have 1300 cp and still haven't completed any dungeons hardly do to the fact I'm afraid of getting kicked cause I have no idea WTH I would be doing lol I've only played pvp since the game was released I understand where you are coming from the PS4 community is just really toxic it's hard to accomplish things at times that require a group to beat it on PS4 at least I've been trying to join a pve guild that doesn't mind helping ppl out but have had no luck in finding one PS4 isn't noob friendly at all maybe some ppl are I am friendly to new players that pvp but the PS4 community is just so bad and toxic at times :(

There's more to running vet dungeons than not dying. But you really haven't given enough details to be able to have much of an option in this case. If you're the tank, keeping taunt and not dying is enough to earn your place, tho your health is too low even with a shield. If you're a healer, as long as no-one else is dying either that's probably good enough too. But if you're a dps, more will depend on why you're not dying. If it's just excellent knowledge of mechs then fair enough, but if it's because you're spamming shields then you're probably not adding enough to the damage. Personally, I'd leave myself rather than kick anyone, but lots of groups will kick low level players if the damage is too low - and being kicked on the last boss suggests that was the case.

well i could use some help perhaps :D

    i use
    -Mad tinkerer set
-Illambris heavy + Medium. (for undaunted passive)
    -Willpower jewelry
-Inferno staff ( elemental blockade/ empowered ward/ Haunting curse/ Inner light/ Bound aegis.)
-Lightning staff: ( power surge, lightning Aoe DOt-thingie, boundless, inner light/ aegis.)

so i actually think my damage is OK as a MAGsorc . i don't have cool things like enchantmens, or special traits or, asylum staff ( asn obody plays asylum on ps4))

    This will always happen.

    Especially lower than CP160.

Most ppl see low CP players as DD as a hinderance especially in vet content, but you sound clued up so it is unfortunate.

Only solution is go with friends, join a guild or climb the CP ladder.

    Become cp160+
Every drop (especially for farmers) wich is below 160 is crap.
Once i farmed a special weapon....i was 3 weeks farming until it droped.....and it was on one of my teammates and on lvl 140 ._.
I guess if you would be in this situation you would kick them as well
Its nothing against you, its just against your drop^^

You don't need an asylum staff, you'd probably benefit more from using two complete sets, as long as they're the right sets. Look at Necro if run a pet, and sets like Julianos, Mothers Sorrow, BSW. You do need enchantments and 'special traits' if you want to run vet content. If you don't even have mag enchants on your armour that's why you're being kicked. Most damage scales on max mag and that's a huge amount of potential you're missing out on. You need to be in something like Divines or Infused for large pieces, at least for most slots.

EDIT: Read this again - I don't play sorc that often so I'm going by memory, but you seem to only have three damage still slotted across both bars and the rest are all defensive. THREE. That's why you're being kicked.

I get through vet content very easily in public without being kicked - there's a trick.

if DPS: "I have 45k DPS, I don't know why the other DPS is so weak"
    else
if Tank "Not enough DPS being done to boss"
    else
if Healer "I keep dying because of DPS and the Tank both."

In this way, you can constantly diffuse blame to somebody else, people will take your word for it because they're naive, and then that guy is the focus of their ill intent. I only had 15k DPS the first time I did Skoria but when we went in, they VTK the tank right after the 1st boss, so I knew I'd be next if I didn't make them think I was gud. lol they even got rid of a DPS who was vastly better than me but wouldn't kick me because they thought I was on some 45k DPS xD

tl;dr lie and take credit for things that aren't because you, and conversely blame people for things whether or not they're guilty. Toxicity is your shield against dungeon VTK.

I’m actually thinking your being really unlucky. If you have the undaunted passives that make med and heavy Llambris worthwhile, then your fairly experienced. You are undaunted rank 10?

To be fair I can’t offer to much advice, but others may be able to. I’m mostly a tank and rarely a healer. Never DPS. I also have all classes at 50 except sorc, I don’t like them lol.

So long as you have all 3 stat or health, mag and mag regen food, yes it has to be purple. Then sounds like your ok to me.

I’d maybe suggest going to 2 full sets and a monster set, so your 5/5/2. Staves now count as 2 slots, so it’s possible now.

Hopefully somone can offer advice on how to dps as sorc. Alternatively visit alcasts site, but he is mainly aimed at raiders.

PS4 becomes a whole lot less toxic when you turn off voice chat and get a keyboard. Type for important stuff and mute them squeakers.

Get a crafted set of Julianos to replace Mad Tinkerer. A lot of people have moved to dual inferno staves, I still run lightning on back-bar. Drop Power Surge and use Spell Power Potions as you said you aren't dying so you likely don't need the heals.

Front bar(inferno): Liquid Lightning, Crystal Frags, Force Pulse, Bound Aegis, Inner Light, Meteor Ulti

Back bar(lightning): Blockade of Elements, Haunting Curse, Empowered Ward, Bound Aegis, Inner Light, Destro Ulti

    Liquid Lightning>bar swap
    LA>Blockade>LA>Haunting Curse>LA>bar swap
    Force Pulse>LA>Force Pulse>LA>Force Pulse>LA>Liquid Lightning>bar swap
    LA>Blockade>HA>LA>bar swap
    Force Pulse>LA>Force Pulse>LA>Force Pulse>LA>Liquid Lightning>bar swap

    LA=Light Attack HA=Heavy Attack

Sustain is a problem for Sorcs so I always throw a Heavy Attack in place of every other Haunting Curse. When you get the rotation down it works out nicely with almost 100% uptime on curse. Also, make sure to throw Crystal Frags when it procs. Do you have your buffs/debuffs displayed?
