I suggested this in game and people agreed that we should shorten the time it takes to craft writs on your account, so I came up with this solution

Being able to do all character writs on one character without having to login the whole account every day, have the writs be account wide for whatever tier they are and multiply it by an outcome of whatever tier your alts are on at the current time into one so if you had all max craftings on all 15 chars it would be the max tier writs x a 15 multiplier since they all share the same daily quest.

I agree. I think all of the work I have to do through the week at my job should be able to be done on Monday, and I should just get a wage with a multiplier for my experience.

I didn't mean to do the whole weekly writs in one day I meant a multiplier to how many characters are eligible to do those writs per day so that the people that don't have enough time to do them all could do them on one character

I'd rather that ZOS not look too closely at the writ system, especially on PC. As much as I love tools like lazy writ crafter, it reduces the time sink involved in crafting writs, allowing players to do far more than ZOS likely intended. As an example, you see some players with 30+ toons doing 7 writs each. I'll take a wild guess and say that this just doesn't happen on console much at all and may actually contribute to the higher material prices you see on console compared to PC. If ZOS does anything to the writ system, I'm thinking they would try to make it more time intensive to line up with consoles rather than saving time as you suggest. Personally, I'd do writs on 50 toons a day if I had the slots for it, so I'm in favor of anything that makes them faster, but it may not be something ZOS wants for the economy.

But why not? If it's too much logging in to all your characters in a day, isn't it also too much logging in to your characters every day?

Yeah I really wouldn't mind not having to go through 15 load screens a day. At least on PC we have addons to make it faster so it's not quite so bad. And actually if this system were to go in place you'd need the other daily login things to work along with it. Hireling mail, most especially. I can't think of any reasonable person having an issue with saving time on otherwise-pointless character swaps if it's all a triviality anyway.

You lost me at people agreed..

Just kidding. All quests should be account wide. There is no reason I should need to complete Cadwells quests multiple times, just let me do it on one character, give the rewards with a multiplier for how many characters I have, and I'll be set. While we are at it, lets just skip the needing to have characters, just use a multiplier of how many possible characters I can have so I have the QOL enhancement that I don't need to create extra characters...

Seriously though, just no. If it is that much of a bother, don't do it, it's that simple. We don't need account wide quests. And yes, I do have multiple max level crafters.

Well i think they could set up some kinda deal where we use skill point to enhance the speed or something along the lines of what your suggesting but make it a skill sink.
