How do I change from English (US) to English (Int'l) permanently?

Lol, I though this thread died fast. Got surprised it started some flaming

The main reason for me is that the timestamp show up in 24H-standard and the date is in for me a correct order. In other way, just a bit more convenient.

It's always been this way. I'm not aware of any significant practical difference between the two so it doesn't bother me.

Oh well, there you have it. If it doesn't bother YOU that it has always been broken, then that's OK.

    You ARE 'murica.

No, I'm UK and the reason I said it doesn't bother me was clearly stated as being because there's no significant difference between them when I switch so the fact that it reverts again isn't an issue. Why does it bother you? Why do you think there's a need for two different formats for what is essentially the same language with slightly different dialects?

Because UK English will map shift-4 as the pound-sign, not the dollar sign.
US English will spell Defence as Defense.

It bothers me because there's an assumption that Australians will just put up with whatever low-brow standard is thrown their way.

The case of the missing u; armour vs armor and colour vs color.

Wholesale replacement of s with z for 'sation', I mean we are talking localisation here not localization!

Mixing up c and s, Defence vs Defense.

Just to name a few. But I agree with some others as I find it irrelevant. I put more weight into the tone of a message, trolls, abuse and so forth, that is the content that annoys me.
