Class for Psijic Roleplay

For players who are into RP, which class do you think best fits a Psijic roleplay? I'd expect either sorceror or templar, but would love to get feedback from other players.

I'm guessing both are fine, but with sorc the whole daedra skill line will need to be abaondoned (probably except the shield one).

I'd think destro/restro staff, psjiic and templar skills are good enough for RP

Templar easily. Cool glowy hands, time stop CC & run buff too, both of which they are lacking.

Be a DK Psijic. Every group of nerds needs a heavy.

psijic order is a mage guild. so any class that can be a mage would fit. the order is more hush hush till ESO, but most games do reference them. they are more of an elite branch of mages, and scholars

Do absolutely out-of-character mechanics, such as classes, really matter for a roleplayer?

Psijic use daedra such as storm atronach for their crops

Warden is good too. Their skills can be seen as illusions, like that quests in the library where the stories come alive.

I think Templar is the best fit. The Psijiic Order are Old Believers - they revere all the ancestors of the Altmer, those ancestors being aedra. This links up nicely with all the aedric aspects of Templars spells.

When my own Magplar gets as far Arteaum in the story line I will be incorporating some Psijiic elements into his persona. They look like they need an Argonian in their ranks.

I would imagine any class would do. After all, all you have to do is disappear and not be seen or heard from again for the next several hundred years.
