This has been suggested before, but I'd like to bring it up (and will continue to do so until ZOS downright refuses, or accepts).
The Imperial City is currently reached by queuing up in a Cyrodiil Campaign, then riding/teleporting halfway across that province to enter the sewers. This poses two problems.
- Unnecessary travelling time, which can be more/less annoying depending on how close the nearest allied keep is to a sewer entrance.
- You're taking up population slots for your faction, without actually contributing anything to the overland PVP of Cyrodiil
This, I believe, could be fixed in a
very simple manner.
Just create a separate queue for Imperial City; allowing people to transport directly from -wherever- to their faction's sewer base.
- Saves time on travel
- Saves population slots for actual overland PVP in Cyrodiil
- Might make Imperial City a bit more popular again (it's a ghost town)
I realize that there used to be a system (or still is?) where the sewer gates could be locked depending on your faction's control over Cyrodiil. But right now it's redundant.
Imagine if you had to queue through Cyrodiil and cross half the province just to get into a Battleground? Silly, right?
Edited by Woodenplank on August 25, 2018 11:06PM I think it is central to ESO's well-being to critique the developers when they change the game (or fail to change something).
But the negativity can be exhausting, so I vow to post 50/50 negativity and appreciation.
