WW Devour... Am I missing something?

I was under the impression that Devour was improved with the new DLC. It still seems extremely fickle in which the [X] ability clicks on/off rapidly even if I am not moving. Am I missing something, because currently this is so frustrating.

WW devour feels, to me, very poorly implemented. The UI stutters with devour when there is loot available, a synergy available, or a dead ally. With the new visuals, I honestly do not need a UI prompt. Just give devour a larger radius and a unique key bound toggle.

I think all they changed in the new DLC is the visibility of what corpses around you are able to be devoured, and increased the amount of corpses that can be devoured (as if you couldnt devour certain enemies)... I could be wrong tho..

But yes, the devour is clunky because its running off the same synergy prompts - which have always been clunky, just a tad less so since Summerset.

I agree, I wish they could make the devour proc able to be key bound to a separate key than synergies and have them prompt simultaneously with 2 different keys rather than fighting over which has priority in the system.

Im also struggling with corpses disappearing in group activities after they were looted.

    /sigh

Feels even worse with a gamepad, although if I move just a bit after prompt it seems to work ok. Devour before looting because non lootable/looted corpses seem to disappear within 5-10 seconds or less and is very frustrating.

Yes, but looting after devouring was always crucial. Small things you learn along the way.

I have noticed also, that "prey" animals like squrrels etc. can't be devoured any more at all. Makes it slightly more difficult although not that of a big deal after all. I'm wondering if killing those still increases the werewolf rank, it has been a long time leveling my last WW.
You reveal yourself best in how you play.

    Kelces - Argonian Templar
Farel Donvu - Dark Elf Sorcerer
Navam Llervu - Dark Elf Dragonknight
    Aniseth - Wood Elf Warden
    Therediel - Wood Elf Templar
    Nilonwy - Wood Elf Nightblade
    Jurupari - Argonian Warden
    Kú-Chulainn - Argonian Sorcerer
    PC - EU
    For the Pact!

I really wish they would spend a little more time polishing the WW playstyle. I am assuming there are no WW Class Reps?

For those on PC--is Devour still a pain in the ass with the direwolves running around? I want to like this morph but it's so frustrating on console ATM.

The direwolves seem to be AFK more than they fight. They dont get in the way of devour, but the UI is too sensitive to activate it
