Intricate gear?

What’s the best way to get intricate weapons and gear? I know you get them from killing some bosses but not sure the best way to get them.

I get a bunch from running group dungeons and doing daily writs. Both seen to drop a mix of ornate or intricate items.

You can buy them from just about any guild trader. I get most of mine from writs.

In addition to daily writs, the guild dailies also hand them out plentifully ... especially the Undaunted daily delve.

crafting writs.......been mailing all mine to my GF so she can get her crafting built up fast since I'm already maxed out

As has been said, crafting writs and daily questings (undaunted and fighters guild are easy enough, mages has a tad higher difficulty rating - though you often get ornate gear there too as I recall...).
Other then that, the drops are random, you will always pick up some... killing bosses or random mobs, and trust in the luck of the draw.

But for the most part, the inspiration boost is not worth the hassles farming for those -directly-, just pick them up en passant, and don't waste energy worrying about it I would say...
