An idea to add something interesting to Cyrodiil!

I have been a Cyrodiil addict since the beginning of console launch and even after all these years I still enjoy messing around in Cyrodiil, however it does get a little tedious doing the same thing night after night. I hope that I am not alone in wishing ZOS would make some changes to Cyrodiil in the near future.

One idea I was thinking of was to add some more control points in the zone and each control point owned by your faction would give you a % chance to receive gold crafting mats in your rewards of the worthy bags (the actual numbers and percentages can be worked out later). I like tying the rewards into the "rewards of the worthy" bags because people would actually have to be active in Cyrodiil to receive anything. I don't think the percentages should be so high that it ruins the market for "Gold Mats", however it should be high enough that people actually care.

I was also thinking it would be cool if they did something with the center of the Cyrodiil map (upper upper imp city). My thoughts were to use the existing bridges into that area but have them guarded by one nasty beast that must be defeated and once it is defeated the bridge gate becomes accessible (each faction has one entrance point) once inside the gate you will see a small castle that you must fight your way to the top and eventually kill the "True Emp" of cyrodill. The faction that kills the "True Emp" gains 1000 points and you have a small percentage to receive faction mount in your extra special "rewards of the worthy" bags. The "True Emp' would only spawn maybe 1 or 2 times a week at varying times. I have yet to work out the mechanics for the "True Emp" fight but I was thinking that once in the castle there are 3 flags that must be flipped and the first faction to control all three flags gets a shot at the 'True Emp" If your faction gains access to the "True Emp" everyone in that faction would receive a pop up asking if they want to fight the "True Emp" At this point you can choose yes and get randomly put into a 12 man group or say no and continue on with your normal cyrodiil activities. All it takes is just one group to kill the very powerful "True Emp" and then your faction gains the 1000 faction points. Everyone that was on at the very start of the event (faction that beat the "True Emp") will receive a special "rewards of the worthy" bag with some goodies and a small chance at a very special faction mount. Oh and for any group that kills the "True Emp" they would get a small chance at a PvP weapon, the 1000 faction points and special "rewards of the worthy" bag are only rewarded once.

The actual numbers and percentages for everything mentioned can be adjusted by ZOS as I was only using random numbers as examples.

I would like to see interesting stuff added to Cyrodiil as well.
Maybe some way to control Alessia bridge/ Chalman milegate/ Ash milegate.
For example, if one alliance control these other have to go on other bridge/gate to enter enemy territory.
It would also be interesting to fight on IC islands outside IC for some new outposts.

I would think after all this time most ESO players would like to see some positive and exciting changes to Cyrodiil... but I could be wrong in my thinking and most players may enjoy doing the same thing night after night :).

The "rewards of the worthy" definitely needs reworking. The current rewards are basically useless. It takes up valuable play time. Who wants to spend their time sorting mail? I don't even bother opening the rewards anymore to save time.

I certainly wouldn't mind adding some new and exciting things to Cyro, but I'd rather see it made /productive/ rather than "more fun".
IMO, it's already fun. Maybe a bit stale, yes, but still fun. And the pop-capped servers agree, I think.

I'd much rather they make the rewards worthwhile, and stop treating the game as if PvE is where you go to gain resources and PvP is where you go to spend them.
PvE is a net gain, and PvP is a net drain.
PvE gets you gold, set items, materials, etc.
PvP gets you AP that you can't spend on anything worthwhile, and drains your resources (potions, poisons, soul gems, etc)

I'd REALLY like to see that change.

Played right and I think there's enough to enjoy. Sadly people don't play 'right' folks are off in desperate groups AP farming, doing their own thing or farming / grinding anything decent into the group.

If everyone was on the same objective, alliance war victory, and working tactially there's a ton to do.

I'm grumpy after witnessing more boosting last night if I'm honest. Always open for new stuff in PvP but players will just treat it the same as everything else I'm sure
