I'm on console and my sweeps still bug out when fighting in cyrodiil. It is literally normal in bgs and outside cyrodiil.

@akredon_ESO I play bothplars on ps4eu. Typically, I stand at a slight distance from my target when I do the pokey spear. I seem to get better results this way, but it is still clear the skill is not performing as it should.

There's two issues with sweeps/ jabs.
Both are severely effected by lag.

1: you might be stationary fighting a stationary. Strikes will barely fire. The damage get very delayed, with sometimes zero damage even going off. Literaly unplayable.

2: when fighting moving targets, the server lag places either you, or your target in a different location from where you visually see him, this is always due to lag. Less noticeable in low lag, very noticeable in heavy lag. Your toon will be "hitting" where you SEE your target...But no damage happens. Impossible to judge where the server places your target. Also when your enemy is very fast or you are very fast via swift, major expedition or minor expedition, you end up dancing around your target with maybe one or two hits here or there.

Two suggestions that could help problem two. Up the damage, a increase in damage will make it more punishing to stand still for ur enemy and a slight increase on damage against fast targets. Or make every hit give the snare, instead if the last one. This may not effect fast players with snare immunity...

Problem one cannot be easily fixed with out major server upgrades

@Baconlad very well said man. I think getting more people to talk about jabs may hopefully get the attention of ZOS to look into this issue for our class

Sweeps/jabs also triggers the combat sprint bug.

Just popping in for an update. Been doing BGs on my stamplar a lot recently. Even there my jabs seem to miss out some of their hits.

It's because no other toons/players are going to stand still and just take all your jabs.. come on.. Same goes with another attacks like Dizzy Swing/Wrecking Blow or Rapid Strikes. Peeps are constantly on the move, weaving and hopping in every which way direction; you're not going to get in every strikes. Particularly with combat glitches like misfires or delays, it's surprising to me if I even get in any successive or multiple strikes.

u don't even need jabs. For stamplar as spammable u can use Steel Tornado cuz it does 4k instant on even tanks, and for magplar you can play with dark flare ranged build. Jabs/sweeps is to be used on an immobilized/stunned/slowed target.
