I really just want to say that there is a lot of whining about the BG’s right now. MRR this, premades that, Sloads, waterboarding, motif pages, lag, snipes, macros, AP spammers, cc’s, rewards, and probably about 20 other things that I can’t think of right now because I have taken a dose of NyQuil and am heading to bed for the evening.

I just wanted to represent here real quick for the silent majorminority about this.

BGs in ESO are awesome. Seriously. If you haven’t tried one, you should give it a shot! They’re a blast.

I have been spam queuing for them in the evenings now for a few days. Always solo q, am in a BG in 2 minutes tops. For real, the longest I have ever waited is mayyyybe 3 minutes for the q to pop.

I have won a boatload of the motifs, and keep q’n for more. To win a motif (90% sure on this) you.have to finish 1st or 2nd, and THEN, 1st or 2nd on your team.

All modes are a blast, I suck mostly at Deathmatch, but every now and then I light it up.

PVP is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS cantankerous as some people will group q and the poopsock for days and then rant because guess what, that’s not really fun.

Anywho, this nerd has been having a great time. So much so that I haven’t even hit WoW for the new Xpac, and there was a time that was a whole thing for me.

Anyways, love you guys, and I’m sure that my rant won’t stop the salt flood here, but either way BGs are a blast, and if you haven’t tried them yet, you should.

    does it only track the games you played after you downloaded the addon or all games before as well

    Only the ones after you download the addon.

    As soon as you get into higher mmr ranks the queue times become quite bad... Yesterday we were able to do one, ONE BG in 1 1/2 hours of queue.

    Gotta rotate through 3-4 toons it’s fhe only way. At first I was playing on only one toon and started getting long queues and getting into matches with you and others as a solo, and it’s fun but the premades are unbearable and queues suck. Since then I just play a couple matches on each toon.

    I've played BGs almost exclusively for a few months on PC/EU. I'm not really one to whine about skills or sets (sloads, rune cage etc) and can compete. If I don't do well, then I know what I did wrong.

    I always queue solo. Always for deathmatch.

    This last week though the queue has been the worst it has been for a long time.

    I would say 95% of queue pops, someone declines the invite. The two times last night I did get into a match I was stuck at "waiting for players" on the ledge for around 10 minutes before logging out, waiting for the deserter penalty and trying again.

    Did this twice and after more declines, finally got into a match around 1 hour after logging in. We were destroyed 500 - 120 - 85 by a premade with a pocket healer.

    Not much fun.

    Yes, BGs are indeed awesome! I ran my first one only during the event since I wanted the SMK title, and I haven’t stopped after that. BGs are one of my favorite ways to spend my ESO time now. I wish I would have jumped in sooner.

    I run several toons through randoms.

    No idea what this mmr is you speak of.

    Que is very quick usually.

    Where does little rocket man come into this discussion? And water boarding?

    Battlegrounds are mad fun. Don’t expect to win.

    I enjoy BGs more than Cyrodil because it's a lot less "zergy" and the odds are fair.

    So if you pvp in Cyrodiil a lot but never do BGs then start later; is it like twinking?
