DYABLE CAPES!! When I first saw the teasing pictures of ESO when it came out, NPCS had capes and it was a major selling point for me. Unfortunately as it turned out, they decided to scrap it (huge disappointment). I would love for them to reintroduce their original idea.

Capes was a major selling point for you??? For an entire game?

Yes. I could ask the same about PVP (really? PVP as a selling point?!). It all comes down to tastes, grasshopper.

A whole game mode is a lot different than "capes"

Not if you don't give a crap about it and would never play it. Besides, "capes" plays a big role in RP which is arguably a big chunk of this game as well.

No, they really don't. Your character is no better or worse for the wear without a cape, they actually play no role in RP whatsoever.
Besides, you can definitely roleplay without a cape...you cannot PvP without PvP

For me it's far worse off without a cape. And for some players, like myself, it sure does play a huge role (just because you don't think it does doesn't make it less valuable). Yes, you cannot PVP without PVP (and for those who don't care about PVP, the argument could be made that it is as useless as a cape request for those who would not value capes). However, my point is that, just because it seems silly or stupid to you, it doesn't make it less of a worthy request.
