Is it possible in ESO? We recently had a player losing on intent because "3x BGs and caltrops, so /care" as well as the obligatory spam of smilies to mock the team some more.

People like this absolutely ruin the fun for 3 others and there should be a way to deal with them. I reported the player obviously, but I doubt that ever does any good and the harm is already done anyway. Would like ZOS to take measures to prevent that c*nt from ruining 9 other people's BGs due to "caltrops"...

What about naming and shaming? Is it allowed? Will gladly share the account name!

Naming and shaming is not allowed on the forums according to the community rules, and is an excellent way to get your thread edited or shut down by the mods.

The problem with kicking someone from a BG match is that bringing in a new player to fill the spot is probably more annoying than being a replacement dungeon member. Its also not like a dungeon where you can stand and wait around for groupfinder to bring you a replacement. I suppose your team might be willing to go on with only 3 members since you effectively only had 3 members anyway. But I doubt kicking people would only be used in those situations.

But at least it would dicourage them as they would gain no points towards 'caltrops noob!'. Dungeons you can complete with 3 easily, BGs 3vs4vs4 is a whole different matter and results in 15-30mins 'lost'.

I really do hope they follow up on those reports as the other 2 have also reported him/her. "3 more BGs for caltrops" should become a "3 more weeks for caltrops" temp ban from BGs/Cyrodill.

I was in a match a couple hours ago with a player who had 0 kills, over 20 deaths, no assists, 100k-ish Damage, 0 healing.

He had over 600 cp, too.

We lost.

Mind boggling.

I think the current system doesn't allow votekicking. It would be abused too easily. They should rather add a kick system like the one in Dota 2 (for BGs only ofc). To pass a kick, everybody (also the enemy teams) have to vote. Adding all chat would also be helpful to explain the reason of the kick so that enemy players know the reason and can react accordingly.
