Lazy/default icons for destro abilities when you have an Ice Staff equipped

When you have a lightning staff equipped, your destro abilities shows a new lightning-theme icon/illustration (except for force pulse and weakness to elements), the same doesn't happen with an ice staff: icons are either exactly the same as the default (destructive reach is exactly the same, while elemental blockade shows the default unstable wall of elements icon on the bar, this is bugging me. Pulsar and Elemental Ring are exactly the same default icons as well) or they are painted to blue (Elemental Rage is just the blue version of the default icon, blue lightning, this is an ice ult, not lightning!)

✭✭✭✭✭I don't know if it's hate or not. It's more like Ice is the poorly implemented half-thought that will never be revisited, except to make it worse (Ice Tanking).2 -

I dont think it does last I checked. They are different colours. I think all are very similar no matter your staff for either the blockade or unstable wall morphs:

Flame wall of elements is slightly more purple with a bit of a circular "aura" line in the tips of the flames and a rounder base outline.
Lightning wall of elements is more purple and has a more complete circular "aura" line and gathers the bolts into a single contact point
Ice wall of elements is more purple and lacks the contrast and shining circular "aura" line of unstable wall.
All very similar, though I guess you could argue the lightning one is quite unique between the morphs.0 -

When i get home I'll upload a SS, the elemental blockade has the default elemental blockade icon, but when you slot it looks like the unstable wall default icon
and this is a little innacurate with the ice staff? the elemental blockade default icon is the right one (i mean, the real default, without a specific staff), and the unstable is the left one. Unless they switch between when you have the ice staff and then the unstable wall icon becomes the default elemental blockade and vice versa lol.Edited by Benemime on August 17, 2018 3:52PM0
