Shall we discuss the stealth detect indicator icon?

I think this was a horrible change. You are essentially gifting those who can stealth a indicator not to come near you. We were always told to pop detect pots, mage light, or evil hunter as our counter to stealth. Well now that counter is essentially gone and all the stealth person has to do is look at you until that light goes away then rengage the combat. IMO this was the worst change because it completely negates your counter to it. What are yalls thoughts?

Absolutely and it just supports the Blade bias that we all feeling.

Popping Stealth Pots, Magelight, Expert Hunter. Those are aggressive actions. Regardless if the enemy can see you or not, once you pop that your intent is to find them, not wait for them to come to you and expose themselves without them knowing and get the drop on them because there didn't yet exist a way to know you were even using said abilities.

Magelight, sure, the mote was the tell. Expert hunter, the tell was kinda *** (in addition to the skill being somewhat ***). Det pots have no tell whatsoever.

It'd be like if someone was to disable your healing without giving you an indication that you couldn't heal anymore (UI or animation wise). Doesn't make for good counter-play.

On the topic of Magelight revealing you from stealth/invisibility, well, thematically it makes sense. Given that you're conjuring a mote of light around you.

I find this extremely ironic as this is the entirety of nightblade gameplay.

You getting the drop on someone....fine. Having a counter that did the same to you...heaven forbid....

It's a ridiculous change that takes away any reasonable counter to cloak, and gives nightblades a free pass to do whatever they like. There's no way you can argue this was a good change without being bias.
It's not...just like with rune cage, you'll defend it because it's a op benifit to your class, not because it's healthy for the game in the least.
    Ridiculous

This whole icon thing needs to go, or at the very least, be made so I can't see my own. Holy is it ever both ugly and annoying! Speaking of which, same goes for shield thingy. That can bounce, too.
