Hello Guys,

I bought special for TESO a gaming laptop MSI GS73VR 7RG Stealth Pro:
-Intel i7 7700HQ
-GTX 1070 with 8GB DDR5
-16 GB RAM
.....

The FPS is terible even on Low graphics .. I
guess the graphic is not the problem because I get the same FPS on low as on High seting ...

Can you guys tell me please how can fix it ?

Its not normal taht i get with this laptop in raids 15 FPS on low-med setting.
The game should now work o 2 cores... hm .. i dont thing that its so .. in Craglon i get 35 FPS on mid setting with low shadows, no reflections...

Thanks
Johny

As you are playing on a laptop, you should ensure your video driver is selecting the correct GPU for ESO by opening the NVIDIA Control Panel and ensuring that ESO64.exe is making use of your primary GPU.

To do so, follow the process below:

    NVIDIA Graphics Cards
    1. Right-click on your desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
    2. In the Control Panel, select Manage 3D settings, then click on the Program Settings tab.
    3. Next to the "Select a program to customize" option, click the Add button.
    4. From the pop-up window, navigate to the folder where ESO is installed and select ESO64.exe.
    5. In the "Select the preferred graphics processor for this program" option, open the drop-down menu and select High-performance NVIDIA processor and confirm.

@Johny29_SK do you have a software like" msi afterburner" where you can monitor your cpu and gpu temp/workload? To rule in/out any of them as a problem.

YesI have it .. i was in kontakt with NVIDIA guy, chatin few days .. all was OK for him..

I make also a video for him with all the results and numbers of cores and GPU .. everithing was OK ..
After few days .. his answer was .. its just a bad "balancing" game .. what i dont want to believe..

Maybe ESO is nkt suporting some pieces of my laptop ?

You probably need to make a custom power setting for when its plugged in to ensure that you are maximizing your GPU/CPU output. If youre just using it out of the box its probably set to balanced or something and is restricting your processing power.

Search for power settings, then go to additional power settings on the right hand side, and then you might be able to select high performance mode or you may have to choose the custom plan and go to change plan settings and then advanced settings. Most notably I believe you want to ensure that the processor power management min/max is at 100% when plugged in.

Did you try my suggestion? I’ve had multiple friends with your issue realize that it was the power settings. And I play on a laptop with very similar specs to yours and get 45-60fps almost everywhere. So it’s not the game and it’s not the hardware specs which means it’s either something like the power settings or maybe you just got faulty hardware.

Ok guys .. is this a support for a game or not ?

Here the picd of a Overwatch on ultra details where GPU is used for 81% and Eso on medium details just with 29%.
So can u tell me please what I doing wrong or how can I fix it ?
