Breakfree BUG on PC

I encountered with this a lot since the late Summerset patch era and still I have it. Especially against some skills. For example "SOMETIMES" can not break free the Templar's total dark skill or Aspect of Terror skill and its morphs (mass hysteria and manifestation of terror) or Snipe and its morphs from sneak shot. While I affected by these skills I always have enaugh stamina for breakfree cost but I can't.

I can confirm that. Breaking free is bugged since summerset.

Also, immunity to snares is bugged. NPCs seem to ignore any immunity and can snare you directly after break free again.

This is known to them for sure. It was most prevalent with rune cage. They nerfed the skill into the ground instead of tackling the break free bug so be careful what you ask for.

So what your saying is, because there is a bug where when you break free from spear mid knockback you get stuck in the falling animation for a couple more seconds, we should remove the damage and range and reduce the stun duration instead of fixing the root problem of the ability not functioning correctly? lol rip cage

Break free does not give immunity to snares, only to stuns, knockbacks, and other "hard" CC.

Immunity to snares/roots comes for example from abilities like shuffle or forward momentum, etc.

I’m running a NB nowadays. Been rune caged from time to time. Been feared. Been fossilized. Been DBoSed.

Haven’t had a single issue with break free.

Edit to add:

When I was running my stam sorc, and got hate measages like they were a Dailey quest, this one guy stood out because he was complaining about rune cage. We had been scuffling back and forth, ultimately he lost. Then came the messages about how rune cage is buggy and he had “full stamina” but couldn’t break free and how much I sucked for using it yadda yadda yadda.

Then I sent him a link of my cost increase poisons for both Stam and magicka.

He replied with “oh”

Fear has been broken for years in this way. It's only coming up as other skills have started doing it. I'm sure a Blade skill won't be touched even if they find the solution on the others.

I also encountered this a lot in Cyrodiil and it's so much annoying when enemy players think I'm out of stamina and kill me with no remorse. The feel of a game full of bugs and errors is even deeper in these situations.

Full stamina pool, 2k stamina regen and break free not working, I can hit the keys multiple times like mad without any effect.

I ment "stun", sorry for the confusion, not snares. Get stunned, break free, and get stunned immediatelly again.

Found what is wrong with this. LMB+RMB key binding is not working. I'm %100 sure I click both same time but not breaking free. Tried with another single key binding its working fine.
