Berserker Enchant Proc

The berserker enchant does not proc with the use of weapon abilities like endless hail and wall of elements, however these abilities will proc every other enchant. In the past this really wasn't an issue. With the addition of off bar enchant procs this becomes more relevant. Is there some reasoning behind this, is this intended?

The berserrker enchantment only works on light and ehavy attacks, that's why builds are going to change and now yor "elemental" enchantments will be on your backbar where your hail/blockade can proc them and your berserker on the front bar where you can proc it more often from through your light attacks.

i saw some testing, where actually two different damage/elemental enchants outparsed the weapon damage enchant on magicka classes.

th3asiangod on YT did an analysis of this, think fire back bar shock/absorb magicka pulled ahead of beserker.

I would think that a Shock enchant would be better in a solo parse, because you're proccing Minor Vulnerability. I did some testing on this in a solo situation, to see whether or not Infal would be needed this patch, and with a Charged Lightning backbar with a Shock enchant I was able to keep Minor Vulnerability up to 76% on a solo 6m parse (average was closer to 65%).

Be interested to see if the front-bar Shock enchant is actually better than a Berserker enchant in a group scenario where healers are providing Minor Vulnerability, either with IA or with both of them running Charged Shock backbars.

I guess the question I have is more why it doesn't work on a technical level. Of course there are ways around it, and it may even not be the best dps. However, it's unintuitive and limits build diversity.

Maybe it was a balance decision a long time ago. If you think about it, as cp increases, our dmg enchants have gotten stronger and stronger able to provide more single target dmg in a parse then something like an increase of 400+ dmg through berserker. The dmg multipliers in the game haven't changed though.
