The Cyrillic font problem

I want to address problem with the in-game Cyrillic font here. As all people here probably knows, since the update 2.5 the game supports Cyrillic alphabet. The problem with the font devs decided to use one can see in the screenshots below.

On the left one can see current font used in the game, on the right, the Cyrillic font with an addon, that fixes this problem for PC users, though console users don't have such luxury.

I address this problem in the Bug Reports section, because it was recently found (thanks to the thread, that was wiped out by the forum moderator in the end), that it bugs some our "western partners" a lot. Sometimes it even forces them to say unpleasant things about the Russian community in the whole. But even smart enough people find such font rather distracting, even those who know the language, but for some reasons don't have the addon installed.

I think, it would be better for all if devs apply such a small fix next patch. Also, I hope, that this humble request will not be ignored.

P.S. Also, considering the growing population of Russian speaking players, it would be wise to add /ru zone chat. The localization we already have thanks to the selfless labor of enthusiasts.

/ru zone chat would be indeed the best idea, and I hope you will get it soon, but how would you convince the Russian community to use it instead of constantly spamming general chat? Maybe if general chat was given some filter or maybe ban the cyrillic completely, for people not accepting this in their zone of comfort. There is already a discussion about this in another forum, so it is a real issue.

First of all, nobody spamming the general chat most of the time. Russian speaking players use it for the same purpose as "Latin" people do. Besides, there are almost no complains about, for example, French and Deutsch messages in the English chat. I think, the main reason (but not the only one) for that is the sprawling Cyrillic font. К и р и л л и ц а ,  you see?

Regarding convincing the Russian community. Well, how the existence of /de, /fr and /jp zones helps to separate one group of players from another? If one don't know English it would be more convinient for him to use his language zone chat instead, right? Such approach doesn't provide 100% energy conversion efficiency, but it's better than nothing.

What discussion do you mean? As I wrote in the first post, the thread I'm aware of was wiped out. Not even closed. Wiped out.
