Improving FPS by making lighting obey LoS

Not only its immersion breaking for lighting to be visible behind walls its also unnecessary burden on our GPU. Is there no way to fix this?

    What you are seeing here is a lack of ambient occlusion. I don't know what kind of performance hit would result from improving their lighting model enough to prevent things like this, but it would most definitely not improve fps at a minimum.
    Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.
